Hello Blogging World,
I’m back after a month or so without any update for this blog. Since, it’s the first term of school holiday in Brunei. I’m hoping to write more and share more only here. I have totally lots of unwritten blog posts that I want to share with you. I was supposed to write and click the published button last month but due to reality, I didn’t manage to. Life happened. School happened.
Yes! I just stared school three weeks ago on 26th February. I didn’t have the time to blog because I have to prepared for school and busy thinking of what my life is going to be the sixth form centre.
Sixth form centre is completely nothing like High School. It’s twice tiring although I have fewer subjects compared to my o’level subjects that I did in High School. I have to move class to class for every subject. Compared to high school, the teachers are the one who’s supposed to move from class to another class.
What subjects I study for A‘level?
For my o’level in High School I studied nine subjects; Islamic religious knowledge, Malay Language, English Language, English Literature, Maths D , Additional Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physic. Nine subjects to study in less than two years of High School. Alhamdulilah, I got good grades that allow me to continue my study in sixth form centre. It’s not amazing grades like my friends. It’s just okay for others but for me, it’s the amazing grades although I didn’t get to be on top of my friends but at least I get to be on top of the person I was years ago. At first when I received my results, I don’t want to even look at it. It was a tough week for me after I received my results. I did write about the tough week of my life, so I can get some of my sadness away. Insha Allah, I will post it here. In that blog post, you can read on how I get myself up and start thinking that life must go on.
Don’t fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place next year as you are today.
I want to study something new for my A’level because it’s a fresh start in a new school. As my High School Career Teacher said, Sixth form is your future. Your future career is depending on what you study for A’level.
I decided to study only four subjects for my A’level which are Psychology, Maths, Syariah and General Paper. When I told my friends and teachers about my subjects, they were a bit surprise. I’m going to write about that in a separate blog post because it needs its own page of explanation in details.
For the last three weeks in Meragang Sixth Form Centre, as I said… it was tiring but fun. I’m calmer than I was in High School. I made friends although I didn’t talk to anyone on my first day of school. After four years in Girl’s High School, it felt strange… going to a mixed school. Maybe let’s not talk about that. It’s normal I think.
That’s the end of this blog post. I feel so relaxed writhing for you. Blogging is a really good thing to get myself out to express my thoughts on my experience and life. I can go back and read my blog, so I can realize that I work hard to make a living for the future me. Every second in my life is only to make my future life happy and so that the past I can be proud for whom I am today and in the future. I hope you do too… to be proud.
How’s school so far?
